I helped out at the charity event all day yesterday (in the sun) and came back late at night. Did I rest? No, no, I just had to give in to the muse, throw much-needed sleep down the gutter, and drew Helen.

The next thing I knew it's my computer clock was ticking past midnight. and of course, it's monday.

I'm a dead woman at 9AM.

I swear I shall never let the muse abuse my neck and shoulder like this again. The muse can and must wait.

AKA How I spent my whole afternoon yesterday. I went through many yucky sketches and finally I remembered how to draw again. It's only 2 line-arts and my neck and shoulder was stiff like hell. Forget the coloring. Dang, I'm old T_T

Okay, I feel that everything in this series is a spoiler for people who haven't read it. So under cut, just in case.

My friend recommended it long time ago. I bought the books but wasn't in the modd to pick them up until now. How I love my friend for warning me not to search for any information on the book and DO NOT read the backcover before finishing each volume. And ain't I glad!! I'd have been spoiled senseless and missed a good chunk of the fun tracking and catching the breadcrumbs the author left in the dark.

I didn't fall in love with the series from the start. The first half of "The Thief", book 1, was a drag and lukewarm at best. What saved the book for me was the story telling within the story. I love mythology. Anyway, I warmed up to Gen, the thief, toward the end of book 1 and fell hard and fast in book 2.

Book 1 was clever. Book 2 was brilliant. And Book 3 was beyond words, well, partly because, I'm a fan of romance. XDDD And now I'm hanging for book 4~~~

If anyone is interested and want to spare yourself the boredom of Book 1, I recommend reading book 2 first then book 3. Of course, you'll be spoiled senseless for the event in book 1 but... *shrugs*. Then after that if you still wanna read book 4, book 1 is a must. ^_^

- Both team called up their closers to stop their rival's at-bat. Great job!
- Works forgotten.
- Multiple series of game-on-the-line moments
- Bottom of the 12th. 0-0, 2 outs, Count 3-1. UBC signal gone scratchy and cut to commercial. WTF!!! Good thing it came back afterward and we're still going on the 13th.
- Nail-bitting hunching-forward. My work isn't going anywhere.
- A-Rod saved the day with a home-run in the 15th inning!!

or rather, saved my job.

Back to work now ^_^;;
