I wrote this somewhere else but my LJ is gathering dust so let me just post it here too ^^;
( Read more... )
I wish more of her works were published here but the possibility is very low T^T
OTL
I've been busy and too lazy to update LJ even though I have tons to write about. First I wanna write about my cousin's wedding but that has to wait.
Anyways, some Japanese guy wrote about Thai Junior High uniform. The detail isn't entirely accurate but I must say the way he drew it was kinda moe XDDD
When in doubt of words, I scurrry to Longdo for Eng-Thai-Eng online dictionary. The other day someone I know sent me this.

- RedSox-Yankees. Penant race
- Pitcher dual. Josh Beckett-A.J.Burnett 0-0 A.J.only gave up 1 hit. Wow!
- Extra innings!
- Both team called up their closers to stop their rival's at-bat. Great job!
- Works forgotten.
- Multiple series of game-on-the-line moments
- Bottom of the 12th. 0-0, 2 outs, Count 3-1. UBC signal gone scratchy and cut to commercial. WTF!!! Good thing it came back afterward and we're still going on the 13th.
- Nail-bitting hunching-forward. My work isn't going anywhere.
- A-Rod saved the day with a home-run in the 15th inning!!
or rather, saved my job.
Back to work now ^_^;;
Yes, they WILL make changes to this outfit. We all know which part, right?
Some say it's creative, Yes. Some say it depict today's Japan well, I'm not Japanese but...Perhaps? But it's surely just not an appropriate dress to represent your country on Miss Universe's stage.
Oh, and I just found out that the kimono wasn't made of silk, but leather!
I enjoyed the game Joba Chamberlain pitched 8 scoreless innings against the Rays and was about to blog it but...
News flash - Ortiz: "Union confirmed I tested positive"
*falls over*
Quote
"Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz, the sluggers who propelled the Boston Red Sox to end an 86-year World Series championship drought and to capture another title three years later, were among the roughly 100 Major League Baseball players to test positive for performance-enhancing drugs in 2003, according to lawyers with knowledge of the results."
This has to be a big blow to the Red Sox fans. Those championships are all tainted now, especially "THE" 2004 title that took them 86 years to achieve. People have already started making sneering comments like the only way they could broke the curse was by doping.
The Red Sox will have a series against their sworn enemy next week. Knowing how the Yanks behave, I feel sorry for them.
But I'm going to watch them anyway =P

The boy noticed the cat right away... and her long tail too. The next thing I knew, a little hand reached out and yanked that black tail... hard.
For a second there, I expected the following... 1. a furious MAOWWW and scratch attack, 2. the boy's bawling (that'd have served him right, hey!), 3. the parents' scream.
But no, the cat just wriggled away as if nothing had happened. Not to be disheartened by this, the boy followed her and pulled her tail AGAIN. Yet not a single meow. They played(?) a tug of war a few times until his parents told him to stop.
Then you know what? After a few minutes, the cat walked up to the boy and nuzzled his legs and let out a soft mew.
I was like... is she masochistic or what? O_O;
Good thing this time the boy just pat her head and didn't make any effort to mistake her tail for a rope again.
I wish I had brought my camera.
Sorry for spamming XD;;
Have a good weekend, everyone.
White Sox's Mark Buehrle made a history by pitching a perfect game against The Rays. No one has achieved this since 2004!
It wouldn't have made possible without the miraculous save flyball catch by DeWayne Wise, Sox's CF, that turned a home run into an out. I wish I had witnessed that moment but the cable here only shows the Yanks' games.
Congrats Buehrle! I may not be your fan before but I am now. Bravo!
The online detectives at Pantip.com are quite on a roll lately. It's truly amazing and creepy at the same time how netizens can dig out the truth and expose hoax after hoax, some of which were believed and broadcast all over the country. Without those pantip detectives sniffing it out just by googling and a few phonecalls, we'd probably never know that some certain news on TV and newspapers were completely bogus. It's a comedic tragedy how irresponsible our country's media works. =_="
The latest hot case on pantip right now is the case of a former singer named Nathan Oman, who claimed that he was cast a supporting role in a 20th century FOX's project led by Bruce Willis and Christina Ricci, directed by Wolfgang Peterson. The film shall comes in 3 installments a-la-LOTR AND Nathan will be paid $2.5mil salary!
There's no ACTUAL proof whether this mega project exists yet but how the press so eagerly ate up his words and ran headlines with it for years is something beyond my comprehension.
And even if it's all BS (which I 80% believe so), I doubt Thai media will care enough to remedy their mistakes. They probably just stop writing about him. But, Of course, Thai people in general will still believe that this kid has made a name in hollywood.
What a sad sad world we live in.
I was at the beach during the weekend. It was, in every sense, a series of simple nothings. Strolled along the beach (AKA picking up junks the sea mother spit back to earth), cooked, read, played badminton, napped, and the highlight of each day, dinner by the sea watching the sunset. I wish I had more days like this.
If only they had a massage parlor nearby, it'd have been perfect.
On unrelated note, my mom and sis went to see an acupuncture doctor yesterday. Both of them said he was amazing. Mom boasted that she can now climbing the stairs without having to 'pull' herself up. I'm glad to hear that though I'm willing to bet my newly bought blender that my workaholic mom will use up anything she got from the doctor in less than a week time. =_="
I found my old daily journals while sorting stuff in the storage. Some of them dated way back to when I was in 4th grade. I sat down and read a couple entries. How nostalgic! and funny.. really! XDD
It made me realize I haven't really keep a real journal for a long time. I'll try to write more about everyday's life from now on. So if you're reading my blog for art and manga, then you might be disappointed. Feel free to defriend me in LJ. =)
Neeway LJ, I'm going to bombard you more with my bad England.
Lots of flowers and choco this year as well (mostly giri from my subordinates LOL), but nothing beat the single red rose from my dad. I love you <3
Neeway, I finished my half@ss inking on my CoL submission. It doesn't look too ugly. ha ha ha Now I'm afraid I'll ruin it with my coloring. orz
A tiny sneak peek.
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone. ^3^

To celebrate the end of season 4, I continued with my 'Toshiya through the ages' (though he looks practically the same). I got sleepy toward the end so the adult Toshi came out real bad. ToT
