Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

8 hours will a few breaks in between. I finished HP6 in a very very early Sunday morning. Not sure if it’s a good idea cuz the book was all swimming in my head during my works all day.

The opening with the prime minister is brilliant.

‘The chosen one’ almost made me choke my sandwich. For a millisecond, the picture of Harry and Lupin on a light saber duel. Why? Well.. for me, RL Lupin is Ewan Mcgregor. XD;;;;;;

I don’t really care for Ginny. She suits Harry tho. Mature, understanding and all that. But most of all, she’s a Weasley. So I won’t complain. The book has gone a great deal to spice up 3.. no .. 4 official couple. It should be called “Hary Potter and the romance of Hogwarts”.

Remus x Tonks! My wolfie and wotcher! Yes!! I almost wooted out loud when my book5’s secret OTP became canon. The marauders are all gone. Remus needs love, and with Tonks, he’ll never find a dull moment. Now he just need to dance his way out of J.K.’s guillotine until the end of the series. Anyway, can I anticipate many good fanfic to come in HP fandom?

Billy! Billy! My Billy! Your pretty, handsome face! *weeps* I know Fluer wouldn’t leave him. (as if she dare!! *sharpen carving knife* ) J.K. won’t risk wading into Shallow French girl streotype. But man! Now how can I draw my dear Billy? Scared face is beyond my skill T_T

Happy to see my dear twins are doing well. Extremely well actually. I love their shop.

I think I see a Snape x Narcisus shimmering for a second. It’s probably one-sided. Oh my imagination just ran wild.

The mention of the Mirror of Erised brought back my favorite scene in Book 1. and I wanna hug and pat harry on his head all over again.

Ron deserved many many proper headbangs against a wall. I used to like you a lot ;_; Hermione was reduced to jealous tantrum? It was indeed Harry Potter’s journey alone.

Speculations : I got a feeling that Harry might be one of the Horcruxes (spelling?) Voldie did leave some of his part on baby Harry, right? We have yet to see the importance of Wormtail as well. They were so little of him it’s just plain suspicious. We still have that Wizard’s debt to cover.

Sirius’s scene in book 5 was nothing compare to book6’s Dumbledore. Much that I prepared to love him, I can’t help ffeling a little depressed after finishing the book. ;_; He need to die. Yes. So the balance will break. But Sirius’s case was quick while Dumbledore’s case was lenghten into a full-blown funeral T_T It’s just hard to take.

I shall reserve my judgement on Snape till the very end. It’s difficult to believe that someone whom Dumbledore trusted so greatly will be completely evil. And J.K. wouldn’t have fun if she can’t make the plot more twisted.. (more than it already is).

Now I seriously hope book 7 will come soon. The tension is almost too much somebody should take a cap off it and let us all see the glory. Yes, I imagine a happy ending. It’s still a children book after all, right? Right?
